The second Balkan Games were held in Bulgaria

The second Balkan Games were a great success. The competition was attended by 62 teams from 7 Balkan countries - Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, debutants from Serbia and Bulgaria and guests from Egypt, who took part for the first time in the history of this sport in the continent of Africa. The competition was held in Burgas from 7 to 9 July 2023 in Mladost Sports Hall in front of a crowded audience of 2000 people.

The Bulgarian Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics held the event at a very high level.

Balkan champions for women became the National Team of Bulgaria, second ranked National Team of Bulgaria and third, the team Afrodite of Greece. In the Junior category, the title was won by the team of Serbia, the second team Afrodite of Greece and the third Eden from Romania.















IFAGG has decided to extend the number of finalist teams in World Cup and Challenge Cup competitions. Based on ranking after preliminaries, 12 best teams will qualify for finals, but maximum two (2) teams from the same country.
The first World Championships in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics were held in 2000 in Helsinki (Finland).
