The 1st IFAGG Asian conference was held in Malaysia

The first ever IFAGG Asian conference was held on October 29, 2022, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

All together 13 counties participated in this conference. IFAGG president Ms. Liliya Morozova and IFAGG vice president Ms. Annely Riga gave both welcome speeches and Ms. Sarah Sarrah, MAGGA representative, introduced all the participants. Ms. Saori Kubota, IFAGG Council member, gave a nice report about the development of AGG in Asian Continent. IFAGG presidents’ proposal to establish the AGG Asia Committee was supported, and Ms. Saori Kubota was nominated as a chairperson of this committee. We are looking forward to seeing AGG develop in Asian continent and IFAGG wants to support this work.

Ms. Marina Bekturganova, president of KFAGG, gave a short presentation of AGG in Kazakhstan and about the upcoming IFAGG World Championships event in Almaty, Kazakhstan in November 2023.

All in all, this first ever Asian conference was a great opportunity to get together and share thoughts and ideas how to continue developing AGG in Asian continent. IFAGG wants to thank all the participants and local organizers.

International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, IFAGG, was established on 12 October 2003 and is the recognized world governing body of aesthetic group gymnastics (AGG).
Team "Olarin Voimistelijat/Dynamot/Deltat" (Finland) - The World Champion in AGG in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009.
